About Kenin Kan Judo Club
Kenin Kan Judo Club is a United States Judo Federation chartered club within the CENCO yudanshakai. Aaron Leon Kenin is the founder and head instructor. The mission of the Kenin Kan Judo Club is to further the teaching and practice of the Japanese martial art of Judo. Judo practice has spread around the world and Judo is an Olympic sport. With this international popularity, in some places the traditional martial arts oriented values and traditions have become less emphasized in some countries and schools. At Kenin Kan, we believe that the traditional approach to Judo carries with it values and life skills that benefit participants and society off as well as on the mat. For this reason, Kenin Kan teaches not only the modern sport of Judo, but emphasizes the history and philosophy as well, and maintains a traditional class structure and work-out style.
