Kennedy Investment Counsel is an independent registered investment advisory firm serving high net worth individuals, charities and foundations. Our focus is on the liquid, publicly-traded portion of the investment portfolio. Less liquid investments are coordinated via the core holdings. The overall investment posture is unique, personal, and managed as such. Financial planning software is provided to our clients, each having their own access. Long range planning is incorporated into the investment objectives, and importantly, periodically re-examined for different paths as life presents new opportunities. Equity management and selection is conducted within the established investment objectives and targeted asset allocation. We have several specialties centered on the ability to manage portfolios having individual equities. We maintain two “template” portfolios, one focused on companies paying above-average and increasing dividends, and the second comprised of seasoned companies that look to sustain their growth potential for multiple economic cycles. A key criterion for each is an extended holding period. Our investing culture stems from a multi-decade career in the trust business, with the belief that the role of a fiduciary is the proper basis for investment evaluation and management. We intend to continue with the wisdom learned, transferring those benefits to you.
