About Kent Farms
Kent Farms, a proud subsidiary of Kent Investments Ghana, is dedicated to transforming agriculture into a sustainable driver of economic growth and food security in Ghana and across Africa. Founded as part of Kent Investments’ vision to build profitable, socially responsible enterprises, Kent Farms has become a model for modern agribusiness with a strong community impact. Based in Tarkwa Simpa, in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality in Ghana’s Western Region, our journey began with a 30-acre rice farm employing over 60 local workers and championing rural job creation. After overcoming early challenges, we achieved our first successful harvests by 2016. Today, Kent Farms has expanded to over 85 acres, diversifying into corn cultivation, poultry farming, and regenerative farming practices. We are committed to reducing Ghana’s reliance on food imports by producing high-quality, locally grown staples while inspiring the next generation to embrace agriculture as a viable and rewarding career. Our approach blends traditional farming knowledge with modern agritech solutions, enabling greater yields, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. Our Vision To be a leading force in African agribusiness, driving food security, empowering communities, and creating sustainable economic opportunities. Our Impact Local Employment: Providing stable jobs for rural communities. Youth Engagement: Attracting young talent into agriculture through skills development and innovation. Sustainability: Implementing eco-friendly farming practices to preserve land and resources for future generations. As part of the Kent Investments family, Kent Farms also benefits from the group’s diverse expertise in logistics, technology, and community development—ensuring our operations remain efficient, scalable, and aligned with broader development goals. From seed to harvest, our mission is simple: feed our communities, grow our economy, and leave the land better than we found it.
