About Keren Energy Group Holdings (Pty)

Established in 2012, Keren Energy is a successful bidder in the South African Department of Energy’s Renewable Independent Power Producer Programme (REIPPP). The programme is aimed at boosting the country’s electricity supply through private sector investment in renewable, sustainable power projects. We have been successful in 5 x 5MW Solar PV bids and we currently have a pipeline of 1000MW Solar PV projects under development. Keren Energy has also established an exciting proof of concept Green Hydrogen Project in Vredendal in the Western Cape. We are committed to reducing carbon emissions and helping to solve crippling energy shortages in the southern Africa region. Our aim is therefore to develop renewable, sustainable energy solutions that will boost the economy and ease the financial strain on end-users. We do this by harnessing the power of inexhaustible natural resources in the most cost-effective way possible. We develop and own renewable energy projects, specialising in renewable, sustainable, cost-effective solutions.
