About Kerrang Radio

Simon James and Hill (Hill being me!) Four times Sony winning duo Simon James and Hill host the breakfast show. Simon James & Hill have been a broadcasting duo and best of mates now for nearly 20 years and during this time they’ve worked in some of the biggest cities in the UK. Their Radio Aire Drivetime show picked up a Sony Gold in 1999 and was consistently the most poplar show in the region. Three years later the boys picked up another Sony for Best Daytime Show whilst at Century FM in Manchester, before going national with Virgin Radio where they received press acclaim for their edgy stunts and credible music mix. The guys are also no strangers to the Kerrang! Radio audience having presented the Saturday afternoon sports show “Offside” back when the station launched in 2004. “Kerrang! is a great station,” says Simon. “The West Midlands has always been a hotbed of musical quality,” adds Hill “and the Kerrang! listeners are brilliant too. We can’t wait to get them involved in our programme.”
