About Kerschner Development Company

At Kerschner Development we dedicate ourselves to building your home with a personal touch. Our small family business has operated for over forty years within the construction industry and has created everything from slope-slide & beach-side condominiums, to luxury homes. We can assure all customers excellent construction quality, amazing attention to detail, and over forty year's worth of experience. Steve Kerschner began his career in construction in 1972 when he joined his parents' construction company as a laborer. Over the next twenty years the Kerschners built hundreds of condominiums. In the early 1990s the Kerschners acted as general contractors for several not-for-profit projects in Norwalk, Bridgeport, Danbury and Litchfield. These included projects for the Norwalk Housing Authority and Action Housing. The Kerschners also volunteered their time and resources to Americares. Barbara and Nolan Kerschner retired in the late 1990s. Steve Kerschner created Kerschner Development Company, LLC to bring his knowledge of the construction industry to the single family residential market. Since its inception, Kerschner Development has built over one hundred new single family homes in lower Fairfield County. These homes range in size from 2,200 to 6,100 square feet. At Kerschner Development we build quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality or craftsmanship. Our staff of Project Managers includes a foreman who is dedicated to pre and post-closing detail. Prior to closing this Project Manager will walk you through your new home and demonstrate how to properly use and maintain the various features of your home. He is also available post closing to address your questions and respond to your concerns in an efficient and timely manner. You are invited to browse the portfolio of our projects.
