About Keshet Design

Keshet is based in beautiful Hobart, Tasmania and first came to fruition at the famous Salamanca Market in 2005. Since then, Keshet has opened a storefront in Hobart’s Bank Arcade and expanded to an online and wholesale retailer. Now ladies from all over the world are adorned in our gorgeous range of clothing! Melodie is the designer and creative force behind Keshet. Her natural flair for colour and design, along with her years of travel and experience of diverse and colourful cultures ignited the flame that brought Keshet to life. The spirit and character of these journeys are reflected in Keshet’s beautiful and unique designs. Our Keshet tribe consists of colourful creatives from all corners of the globe. We thrive from the unique mix of cultures and experiences that each individual brings to Keshet. This blend contributes to the diverse collaborative and creative experience that Keshet is. All of Keshet’s collections are designed here in beautiful Tasmania, from the very first concept to the final product. Our team of creatives designs each season's collection of exclusive prints. We then have our printers expose our artwork and print our selection of quality fabrics ranging from cotton jersey to lush corduroy. During this creation process, we only produce as much as we need. This ensures there is no wastage, and each collection is a limited edition. Inclusivity and diversity are the two main foundation blocks from which Keshet has been built. We understand that we rise by lifting others, and the only way to achieve this is together as one world. Keshet supports people both locally and globally, choosing to ethically manufacture our beautiful Keshet pieces overseas in India, Thailand and Indonesia. Melodie regularly travels to meet and connect with our manufacturers ensuring each of our garments is handmade with love.
