About Kesseböhmer Ergonomie of America
When it comes to manufacturing special system components for the furniture industry, our group of companies holds a leading position in the world. Our lifting systems are primarily installed in table bases used for office, industrial, school, and health care applications. Our core competency is in metal processing. We work with wire, flat band and tubing and our products are finished in our in-house electroplating and powder-coating facilities. Kesseböhmer has a high level of vertical integration, with all production processes in our German locations. We also engineer and build key elements of our production machinery and tooling. Our worldwide locations provide local and convenient service and assembly options to our customers. This strategy cuts development time from a new idea to a quality product: Functions that delight. Designs that impress. Quality that sets standards. In 2016 Kessebohmer Ergonomie of America opened in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This location provides sales and assembly as well as an American customer service extension. The Grand Rapids facility currently has 11,000 + ft² of high bay assembly / ware house space. Seven employees work at the facility. We have also created relationships with key local suppliers that provide expertise in areas such fabrication and powder coating.
