KSD operates 10 regional distribution centers in the continental United States and goes to market in the Caribbean thru a stocking rep relationship. The company is a privately held third generation family business that is approaching 80 years in operation in 2015. With 110+ employees, KSD is focused on servicing the tubing, pipe and PVF needs of plumbing and heating wholesalers, HVAC wholesalers, Industrial Supply Houses, Waterworks Suppliers and OEM’s. Key partners on the supply side include Wieland Copper Products out of Pine Hall, NC (parent company in Germany dates back to 1820) for domestic copper tubing and coils, Wheatland Tube out of Sharon, PA for domestic continuous weld steel pipe, JM Eagle for PVC and SDR pipe, and Jungwoo (South Korea) for high quality wrot copper fittings. We do not sell direct to the public and we do not sell direct to contractors of any type (including fire protection contractors). Our pledge to our wholesale customer is that we will not sell your customers. Supply chain integrity is paramount to KSD and you will never see us violate this edict. KSD’s role is to shrink time and space for our valued wholesale customers. Our job is to provide you with manageable minimums and fast turnarounds along with high fill rates and competitive pricing.
