Kesta Happening DC (Kesta Happening) is the premier website for all Latin music events in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Kesta Happening brings together a broad range of Latin music genres and culture and provides information about upcoming events, interviews, CD reviews, photo and video galleries, a daily radio section, discussion forums and much more. Our mission is to provide a resource where people can learn about Latin Culture through its music. Kesta Happening DC consists of 8 staff members along with several volunteers and currently receives revenue from business sponsorships and advertisements. This includes promotions posted on Kesta Happening DC’s website, the weekly Kesta Happening Newsletter, and event flyers. Kesta Happening DC was created to become a “go-to” portal for the Latino community to visit to find out about music events happening in their area, as well as, learn through word of mouth what to expect of the many clubs, concert venues, and bars.
