About Kett's Books

Kett's Books is an independent community bookshop run by volunteers. In addition to providing books and author events to Wymondham, we create nearly 7,000 volunteer hours per year. Volunteers acquire work and life skills, and find a community of friends - combating social isolation and improving mental health. June 2023 We are now negotiating the lease on a large property on the historic market square in Wymondham, where we will have facility to increase our impact on volunteers, and create volunteer opportunities to over 9,000 hours/year. We are able to do this through the generosity of our loyal Friends programme, the support of South Norfolk District Council, and the enthusiastic encouragement of the town.
