About Kevin Michael Salon
There is a saying that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life! I absolutely love what I do! I was raised and spent most of my young life in Mobile, Alabama. I moved to NYC, where, through a wonderful set of circumstances, I met my partner and eventually moved to Sacramento, CA in 2000. After working at a cosmetology school for three years, I yearned to be back in the salon environment and started building my Sacramento based clientele in 2003. In 2005, I was presented with an opportunity to open a salon in midtown Sacramento; ninety days later (October 2005) Kevin Michael Salon was born. Since that time I have come to know and work with some very talented stylists, estheticians, and educators. I feel fortunate to have surrounded myself with a dedicated staff that agrees on the same fundamental salon skills as I do: Customer satisfaction & service is our number one goal Clients deserve to come to an impeccably clean, comfortable environment Clients receive quality services at an affordable price point. Being raised in the deep south gives me a strong built-in sense of “southern hospitality”. No need to stop at Starbucks on your way in, we have fresh hot coffee, a variety of teas, cocoa, bottled water, wine & beer. Make yourself at home and leave the serious hair work to us!
