About Kezie

Our company name Kezie is a misspelling of Kezi, a small village in Matabeleland South province in Zimbabwe. Our company was founded by Walter Murray, a farmer from the Scottish Borders who innovatively started rearing Ostriches on the family farm during the 1990’s. Popularity of the meat grew and it was a natural decision to move into importing more specialist exotic meats to compliment the Ostrich range. Unfortunately the Foot and Mouth outbreak at the turn of the century forced the Ostrich farming operation to cease but the import of Ostrich alongside other popular ranges such as Kangaroo, Springbok, Zebra and many more has gone from strength to strength! Today, the company has a range of over 20 exotic meats, game meats, traditional meats and seafood. Our innovative product development ideas have been key to our progress and our range of food is about as natural and clean as it gets with many of the meats and fish being genuinely wild, naturally high in protein and low in fat. We have a growing base of customers including retailers, butchers, restaurants, sports nutrition shops and health conscious customers; from professional athletes and sportspeople to everyday gym-goers who are focused on reaching their goals and maintaining them through good nutrition and healthy eating. We have over 20 years’ experience supplying our innovative products direct to customers all across the UK and Ireland.
