About KFUPM Mechanical Engineering Club

Mechanical Engineering Club (MEC) is one of the scientific disciplines clubs at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Its members range from 100 to 200 members each semester and its goals and vision includes the following: - Sharing experience in the mechanical engineering field by hosting qualified experts in the mechanical engineering field to share their knowledge and experience. - Providing help sessions in KFUPM mechanical engineering courses. - Preparing posters and brochures to increase the level of knowledge in the areas of the mechanical engineering major among students. - Coordinating field visits to some companies in order to link between the theory and the applications. - Conducting entertaining scientific competitions to encourage innovation and competitive spirit among students. - Helping students to prepare their next semester schedules. - Providing support for students' bright ideas and projects that are related to the mechanical engineering field. - Conducting short courses and workshops for the most important and frequently-used Softwares and tools in the field of mechanical engineering. - Establishing friendly meetings with faculty members, alumni, or experts in the mechanical engineering field in order to exchange experiences in a more casual informal style. These are just examples of things that can be done to serve our mechanical engineering students community, however, WE ARE DOING MORE.
