About Kibbutz Be'eri
Kibbutz Be’eri was founded on the evening of Yom Kippur in 1946, as part of the “11 Points” operation that effectively established the southern border of the State of Israel. In recent decades, the kibbutz has played a central role in the regional economy as its largest employer. Its primary industries have included Be’eri Printing Press—the largest printing facility in Israel—alongside diverse agricultural operations and businesses such as La-Medavesh, a regional cycling center, a dairy, and much more.
