About Kibler's Longrifles

Jim has been building high-end custom flintlock rifles since 2008 and had developed a reputation for making beautifully designed, historically representative, and highly collectible guns. In 2014, on our first date, Jim and his girlfriend Katherine Werre (that's me!) discussed the opening in the market for a custom-quality flintlock rifle kit. The first style, the Southern Mountain Rifle Kit was designed and offered for sale in 2015 and the Colonial American Rifle Kit came along a couple of years later. Since that time, Kibler's has brought manufacturing of many of the components used in the kit to be done in-house in their workshop in Kensington Ohio. All other components are made by craftsmen and women all located in the United States and as committed to quality as Kibler's Longrifles is. The parts of each style fit together easily and the customer can have a fully finished flintlock within a week. We are here to help our customers make something they want to use, hang on the wall, and pass down to the next generation.
