About Kids of Note Mentoring Initiative
The Kids of Note is a program founded with the goal of supporting jr. and senior high school students whose dream is to become First Generation college students. Our common thread is music. Each of the members is actively involved in their school or church music programs. Based out of Christ Church, Alexandria, our initiative is generously funded through the efforts of Director of Music Jason Abel and the Choirs of Christ Church. Each year, the collection from the annual service of Nine Lessons and Carols provides the base funds for our operation.
