About Kidznotes
Kidznotes engages students in a rigorous out-of-school musical program. We use music education to provide the structure, responsibility, and opportunities for success. Classes include instrumental instruction, music theory, general music, and small and large ensembles. Students range from 1st through 12th grade primarily in Durham County Public Schools but also serves charter and private schools in Durham, Orange, Wake and Chatham counties. Our mission is to empower youth through music education, fostering personal growth, deepening community engagement, and driving social change. We envision a world in which every child has equitable access to a vibrant music education community where the passion for music unlocks children's potential, transforms lives, and contributes to a thriving society.
