About kija homeless to home transitional housing
kija homeless to home transitional housing Inc. is a startup nonprofit organization that provides food clothes transitional housing and resources to homeless families as an avenue to become self-sufficient. Our organization started serving the homeless community on Nov 20, 2015 by providing home cooked meals and clothing in Atlanta Ga and the metro surrounding areas. Although we serve all of the homeless community our major focus is on the homeless families because Georgia is the second worst state in the nation for child homelessness there are 58,000 homeless children in Atlanta. This is what led our organization to become 501(c)(3) status so that we can raise funds to open a transitional housing so that we can provide safe adequate housing for these homeless families. We can't do this without the generous donations of the community we are working hard to help these families secure housing.
