About Kilmac
More than 130 staff are managed from our Delta House headquarters in Dundee’s Technology Park. Our regional office in Dunfermline and Livingston continues to deal with the growing number of contracts we are securing across the central belt of Scotland. The company was formed in 2004 by Richard Kilcullen and Athole McDonald. Both directors are civil engineers and have worked together since 1988. The aim when they started the business was to dominate the medium sized civils market. Both Richard and Athole are accountable to their clients for company performance and are very much actively involved in the day to day running of the business and maintaining working relationships with their clients. The success of the business is down to their dedicated, highly skilled, motivated workforce, market leading management and safety systems allows them to consistently deliver project safely, on time and on budget. Richard manages the operational side of the business and Athole heads up the commercial team. Kilmac is now recognised as one of Scotland's leading Civil Engineering and Building Contractors. Working in partnership with main contractors all over Scotland, we have build up a proven track record of delivering contracts on time and within budget. Using our Inhouse Project Managers and Engineers supported by our skilled Foremen on site, we pride ourselves on delivery of a professional service. Kilmac cover all local authority work including road construction, structures and high spec streetscape works. Coupled with our expertise in Onshore Wind and Hydro installation ensures Kilmac can deliver a "One Stop" facility. Our "Zero Defect" policy which is controlled using our sector leading QA system, excellent safety record and lean processes allow Kilmac to meet the most stringent needs of the client.
