(KIM), founded in 1993 by Sunny Kim, is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm who provides clients with the full range of services, including Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, QA/QC Inspections, Construction Material Testing, Drilling, Subsurface Utility Engineering, Environmental Services, and Fire Protection Engineering. Our comprehensive scope of services and overall engineering expertise enables us to work with our clients on a total-project basis. KIM stays with our clients from start to finish, delivering personalized services and added value. At KIM, our clients come first with a passion of taking on technical challenges for both public and private sector projects. It is our belief that engineering is the future and we take pride in delivering the best product catered to our client’s needs utilizing our staff’s expertise and talent. Our main office is located in Laurel, Maryland with branch offices located in Baltimore, Maryland and Rockville, Maryland. Kim Engineering, Inc. is certified as a MDOT MBE/DBE/SBE, Virginia SWaM/DBE, Prince George’s County CBSB, City of Baltimore MBE and an MWAA LSBE.
