At Kind Rehabilitation, we believe that aging adults deserve exceptional care that empowers them to live as independently as possible. Our evidence-based and experience-tested physical and occupational therapy services provide older adults with compassion, patience and training to function optimally in their homes. We don’t go easy on our clients, because we know Kind clients can achieve great things. In our experience, the seniors we serve have been treated with a lack of confidence in their abilities. Our clients often report that many heath professionals believe they are no longer capable of, or even deserving of, true wellness. We believe all older adults can improve their health, reduce their risk of falls, and live fuller lives. All our treatments are collaborative - we are the experts on improving your health, but you are the expert on you. Our clients have a wide array of diagnoses that range from neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia, to orthopedic concerns like fractures, joint replacements or degeneration. We treat people with cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnoses such as chronic heart disease and COPD. We also address chronic and acute pain. These conditions all call for very specific treatment plans, and our clients all have their own highly personal goals. A Kind treatment plan honors these very specific goals. Together, we can reduce the risk of falls, improve muscle strength, restore balance, increase endurance, decrease pain, and improve functioning in everyday activities. Because we are Medicare Part B providers, we operate on an outpatient-style treatment plan, which allows for flexibility in frequency and duration of therapy services. We bring your appointments to your home at a time of day that best suits your schedule. Our appointments are always one-on-one.
