About Kind & Simple
ABOUT Hi, my name is Lily, and I'm the creator and founder of Kind & Simple, LLC! During my time as an Environmental Conservation Graduate Student at Miami University, I was assigned the task to conduct an environmentally conscious activity at home. For this, I handcrafted and used my own earth-friendly beauty products. Initially, everything I made was for personal use and the occasional gift. But soon, word of these products spread throughout town, and the increase in demand led me to develop my first shop, Lily's Lotions. From there I expanded my line to include candles, bath, body, and pet products, leading to developing the new name: Kind & Simple. Why the name change? Once Lily's Lotions grew to include so much more than just lotions, I wanted a name that better represented the foundation of that growth: kindness and simplicity. My products are Kind to the Earth, Kind to the skin, Kind to the senses, and, through donations, Kind to wildlife conservation charities. While developing kind products, I also maintain the benefits of keeping things Simple; Simple, easy to understand ingredients; Simple packaging; and everything I make is designed with one Simple goal: To help the Earth and everything on it. KIND & SIMPLE PHILOSOPHY Kind & Simple products are made from high-quality earth-friendly ingredients that are healthy and safe to create wholesome products that are nourishing and smell great. We never use skin-corroding substances or synthetic colorants, and take pride in our simplicity. What you see is what you get. No funny business here.
