Making Music Beyond The Notes 🎶 For over thirty years, this accomplished chamber choir of around twenty singers has been offering outstanding concerts which both inspire and delight audiences. The ensemble has given a number of world premieres, including the first performance of the Jazz trio version of Will Todd’s Mass in Blue. The choir is equally at home with smaller scale works, such as the Bach Motets, the masses of Byrd, Willaert and Palestrina, as with more substantial works including the St John Passion, Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Pärt’s Berliner Mass. Yet very often you'll find yourself introduced to music you had never experienced before, as the choir takes pleasure in showcasing new talented composers. Whether you favour serious historical retrospectives, or you prefer its popular lighter programmes, Kingfisher Chorale will leave you feeling enlightened and stimulated.
