About Kingston Students' Union
Union of Kingston Students exists to support, empower and enrich the lives of all students at Kingston University. We are a registered charity with student members elected across a range of roles to lead the organisation, supported by a team of permanent staff who are responsible for the operation and management of the union. Kingston University sits proudly at the heart Kingston upon Thames and is only a 30 minute train journey from central London. It is a dynamic institution committed to widening participation in higher education and the students’ union works collaboratively as a critical friend to build an inclusive and broad-based environment for the 15,000 students whose lives are transformed during their time in Kingston. As a union we work hard to enrich the lives of our students through representation, more than 100 societies, competitive and non-competitive sport, volunteering and advice.
