About Kinship Earth

Kinship Earth Flow Fund (KEFF) is devoted to advancing Marion Rockefeller Weber’s Flow Funding Model, a revolutionary and trust-based approach to philanthropy. Using her own funds from 1993 through 2010, Marion pioneered the field of trust based philanthropy designed to efficiently flow starter grant donations to grass roots initiatives and activists. Marion's initial trust in a select few has grown into a global network of organizations, extending her legacy of power-sharing and entrusting people to utilize flow funds for the greatest possible impact. Funds are distributed through a network of Ambassadors, chosen for their experience exemplifying acts of service and deep engagement with environmental, economic, social justice, or other nature-centric humanitarian grassroots initiatives. Ambassadors distribute the funds they receive to individuals who they trust to be the next step in utilizing them for the greatest possible impact on our collective future. In 2024, KEFF is launching a campaign aiming to establish an initial fund of $2M dedicated to providing grants at the grassroots level. We will be distributing funds to KEFF’s Ambassadors, and to a growing network of organizations using the model to make difference around the world.
