KiON Defense Technologies (KDT) is an independent U.S. company that is the sole provider of KiON® and Ceraset ® organopolysilazane resins and products for U.S. Military and Defense applications. KDT also manufactures and sells other polymer resins to all industries, worldwide. All KDT products are made in the U.S.A. KDT offers a variety of polymer resins that are utilized in applications where thermal stability, light weight, corrosion resistance, and cost are important. KDT polymer resins are shelf stable at room temperature, easy to handle, and can be processed to ceramics such as SiC, Si3N4, SiCN, SiOCN, SiBCN, B2O3, etc. Our core competency is in the area of designing novel polymer architectures with optimum performance properties for specific market applications. KDT works closely with its customers in developing polymer resins that meet the stringent requirements demanded in today’s world, where high performance under extreme conditions is stressed. KDT customers find that our resin systems succeed where others have failed.
