Inspirations from travel and nature fuse to create an element of adventure in each piece. Showing references to fascinating cultures through intricate details and unusual finishes, Kir Collection designs evoke a playful spirit empowering women to be confidently beautiful. KIR, formerly Kirsten Moorhead Jewelry, was founded in 2001 by Kirsten Boedecker and Jennifer Klein. From 2001-2004, the company built its wholesale distribution to include many exclusive, high end boutiques. In Spring of 2009, the company relaunched nationally as Kir with a new drive and product selection. Kir is still privately owned by its’ two founders. Today Kir is operated by an all woman team. Design, development, quality control, stone sourcing and raw material planning are overseen by the KIR executive office in Boulder, Colorado. Specifications are determined by the KIR design team for each prototype to ensure the final product is of the highest quality.
