About Kitab Development

Kitab Development was born out of the Kitab Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting literacy and opportunity for immigrant families. Building on that mission, our founders created Kitab Development to expand our impact through the preservation and development of affordable housing. We acquire and reinvest in multifamily properties with a focus on long-term affordability, community stability, and resident well-being. We also provide advisory services to facilitate the creation of affordable and workforce housing. Our work combines real estate and public-private financing expertise with a values-driven approach. We’re committed to creating safe, high-quality housing that supports the people and communities we serve.
