KitchenLab is a Chicago interior design firm that creates warm, inviting spaces for people who love their kitchens. Embracing the culture of hospitality, KitchenLab designs kitchens and adjacent spaces that allow for easy cooking, gathering, hosting and hanging out, creating complete environments so welcoming and comfortable, you don’t want to leave. We design complete kitchen environments, including dining areas, pantries, bathrooms and mudrooms, as needed. Our kitchen interiors incorporate a collage-like mix of layers, details and patina to make a space unique, comfortable and a complement to the home and client’s lifestyle. KitchenLab adds details you won’t find anywhere else into every design, such as hand-finished hardware, a vintage light, or unique molding. Space planning is critical to our designs, and we optimize the placement of appliances, cabinetry, walls, windows, doors and more. Typically, KitchenLab is the first in and last out on projects. Our goal is to create a seamless experience for our clients. We act as a design/build firm, managing the “build” portion by bringing on highly vetted architects, contractors, tradespeople or engineers as the project requires. We create beautiful, timeless kitchens in Chicago and the surrounding area.
