In 2015, when our founder began to think about the possibilities of more sustainable production of conventional everyday objects, this resulted in a surprising realization: Despite recycling, the following applies: "The most sustainable product is the one that is not manufactured in the first place". Together with the insight that our cities are actually "huge warehouses" in which everything is already there, but slumbers little used in cellars, kitchens, garages, etc., the idea arose to concentrate on two topics: Increase the use of everyday objects (sharing) as well as their lifespan (caring). This is because less is produced, which lowers the consumption of increasingly limited resources, reduces global transport and generates less waste locally. We started with sharing and are launching the Kleine Tat sharing app, a new solution that differs fundamentally from conventional sharing offers. Our goal: Sharing becomes as natural a part of our lifestyle as daily grocery shopping - for millions of people. Because only through the changed consumer behavior of many can we achieve measurably positive results that have an effect on the climate and our environment. We didn't just "start programming", but analyzed the existing solutions at the beginning of the product development in order to understand why in 15 years of sharing no solution has become widespread. The result was important insights that we have incorporated into our approach. All rights (brands, software, domains, etc.) are held by the sole proprietorship of "Kleine Tat Labs, owner Volker Schittny". This company develops the solutions for Kleine Tat with a team of part-timers and volunteers, while the Kleine Tat Services GmbH takes on the marketing of these solutions.
