KMCS3 is a student-facing society on cyber security, for all students studying at the University of Kent in its Canterbury and Medway campuses. It is formally associated with iCSS (Institute of Cyber Security for Society) at the University of Kent, as its financial sponsor and administrative supporter. All University of Kent students studying any degree course in any academic school or centre are welcome to join KMCS3 as long as they are interested in cyber security as a broad topic covering both technical and socio-technical aspects of cyber security such as cryptography, system security, network security, cloud security, digital forensics, ethical hacking/ pentesting, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, cybercrime and online harms, privacy and data protection, cyber law, misinformation and disinformation, online safety, cyber conflict/ war/ diplomacy, cyber psychology, trustworthy and responsible AI.
