About Knight-Thon at the University of Central Florida
Knight-Thon at the University of Central Florida is an annual 20-hour event benefiting the patients of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Florida. Each year, more than 1,500 students stay awake and on their feet to raise money and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. In the 22 years of Knight-Thon's existence, more than $5 million has been donated, making it the most successful student-run philanthropy at the University of Central Florida. In 2018, Knight-Thon raised a grand total of $1,585,698.22 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, becoming the seventh most successful Dance Marathon in the nation.
