About us - Knit-ted was founded in 2009 by Petra Stapper. The same year as her daughter Teddie was born. Her name is 'hidden' in the name of the brand. - The head office of Knit-ted is situated in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where a team of 5 employees are working on the brand. - Knit-ted has agents in Germany, Norway, and Ireland representing the brand. - Knit-ted has nearly 100 points of sale in their home market and is present in 6 other countries. - Knit-ted offers two womenswear collections a year; Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer. The way we work - Knit-ted sources all products with integrity to uphold the highest quality of our products and to honour our ethical standards with a genuine respect for social responsibility, sustainability and the environment. - Knit-ted uses mainly 100% pure fabrics like; Merino Wool, Linen, Viscose, Tencel and Cotton. - Knit-ted is fully committed to using responsibly sourced raw materials, including the use of fibres derived from animals. This animal welfare policy is a fundamental part of Knit-ted its core values. - All chemicals used must meet strict toxicity standards. - Knit-ted works with factories in Portugal, Lithuania and China. - All factories Knit-ted works with are in line with BSCI social responsible standard. - Knit-ted works with a supply chain that takes good care of working conditions, has respect for all workers and promotes responsible environmental practices.
