About KnowCo

KnowCo is two complementary businesses: 1. We serve clients by building and commissioning systems and reports that make risk and compliance operations more efficient, more elegant and more robust. These may be bespoke systems, but are usually one or more subsets of our established suite of applications covering stress-testing, business planning, ALM and IFRS 9. Since we started business in 2010 we have installed such systems in more than 25 banks, and in most of those instances have gone on to provide one or more supplementary associated services. For example our first IFRS 9 client in the UK, in 4Q2017, has been using our stress-tsting system since 2011. 2. We serve clients by supporting them with the ‘heavy lifting’ in regulatory imperatives such as ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP etc. This means knowing the written and unwritten expectations of supervisors, and building or rebuilding proportionate policy-process-assurance infrastructures, within our client banks, that meet those expectations. An important aspect of this business is extracting real business benefit, where possible: i.e. ways of doing things better, not just ticking regulatory boxes. You will see how the two businesses connect, and although some of our clients use only the consulting or only the software offerings, most use both.
