Knoxville Paralegal Services was founded by Brooke M. Govert in 2018 when she saw the need to bring the "virtual paralegal" to the Knoxville market. Everyday paralegals work alongside attorneys during all phases of the litigation process, from the initiation of a case to the discovery period through trial and post-trial findings and appeals. As a “virtual paralegal" we handle these assignments through an online office and as an “on demand” service. Some advantages to hiring a virtual paralegal are no overhead costs, no need to train an employee, attorneys can bill clients for the time of a virtual or contract paralegal, and no need to pay for health insurance or other benefits. With over 15 years experience as a paralegal, no job is too small, too big or too complex. Brooke specializes in criminal defense and litigation.
