About Ko-operativa

The times we are currently facing with the Covid-19 crisis demand new thought patterns and values, rapid adaptation and immediate action. We are co-creating a new NOW. We connect businesses, individuals, businesses, initiatives, projects and events. All with the intention and under the common denominator of co-creation of new social models and actions for the common good. We are an autonomous association of persons voluntarily connected with the intention of responding to our shared economic, social and cultural needs and efforts through a community we govern democratically. Our mission is to spread the entrepreneurial spirit. We believe that entrepreneurs are the drivers of change and our role contributes to inventions, innovations and solutions in times of great social change. That is why we activate, open and support the healthy and open entrepreneurial spirit of Celje in its widest form. Our activities include awareness of the spirit and roots of Celje (history, education), green / sustainable forms of business (circular economy and other new economic models), entrepreneurship as a way of life (starting already in school), connecting individuals and new business initiatives (start-ups, international projects, ideas…) as well as organizing and supporting cultural and sports events. Caring for the common good. We see our great role in creating new models of business and life, especially in cooperation with nature, in sustainable forms of operation, in the model of a circular economy and self-sufficiency, through digitization and in the spirit of solidarity. We believe in the principle from local to global and expanding horizons across borders (including mental ones). That is why on a firmly established local basis, we operate and connect across the borders of Celje and Slovenia - participate in international innovative projects through which we share our good practices abroad and bring new knowledge, experience and practices to the local environment.
