Goed voor de mens, goed voor de omgeving. KOALA HUG dekbedovertrekken, hoeslakens, kussenslopen en dekbedden worden gemaakt van 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell (merknaam van producent Lenzing uit Oostenrijk). Wij zijn er dol op! TENCEL™ wordt gemaakt van duurzaam gewonnen hout van eucalyptusbomen en is 100% natuurlijk en plantaardig. De houtpulp van de eucalyptusbomen wordt verwerkt met organische (niet-giftige) chemicaliën in een gesloten kringloopcyclus die 99,9% van alle chemicaliën en water hergebruikt (“closed loop system”). Naast dat het milieuvriendelijk is, heeft TENCEL™ nog een heleboel andere voordelen. Zo is de stof heerlijk luchtdoorlatend en temperatuurregulerend, voelt het soepel en zacht aan, het is antibacterieel, hypoallergeen en droogt supersnel (zonder gebruik te hoeven maken van een energieslurpende wasdroger).
