About Kobra Infosec - VS-NfD - IT Security Made in Germany
We have been developing and manufacturing external encrypted storage devices Made in Germany since 2005 and in 2020 launched the Kobra Drive VS and Kobra Stick VS with a certification by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and approval for securing VS-NfD, NATO RESTRICTED and EU RESTRICTED classified data. All storage devices also bear the sign of trust by the German TeleTrusT "It Security Made in Germany". A unique and core feature of the Kobra Stick VS and Kobra Drive VS series is the patented 2-factor authentication by means of a smartcard and PIN, enabled by the storage devices build-in Smartcard-Reader and PIN Pad. Companies and public authorities use the highly secure storage devices in various application scenarios, including the secure transport of sensitive, VS-NfD-, NATO-Restricted and EU-Restricted classified data, the creation of GDPR compliant backups, the use as a data diode, the use in airgap environments, cloud and VPN access, single sign-on and secure booting of operating systems, also as a remote access and mobile workstation solution. The BSI-certified solutions approved for classified information (VS-NfD, NATO RESTRICTED, EU RESTRICTED) enable authorities and companies to meet the strict requirements of the German Federal Data Protection Act BDSG and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). The encrypted storage devices of the series Kobra VS allow the design of various data protection related processes in a highly secure, innovative, easy, efficient, and very cost-effective manner.
