Founded by a musician, mix engineer and producer with over two decades of hands-on experience, we help artists refine their vision and sound with care, clarity, and creative depth. Whether it’s a raw basement demo or an intricately tracked full-length album, we bring every project to life with a hybrid workflow of analog warmth and digital precision. From pre-production guidance to final mastering, we support artists holistically – offering not just technical expertise, but musical empathy. We’ve worked across genres, from alternative thrash to post-rock, folk to ensemble recordings. Notable releases include the full-length debut of duct hearts, co-released internationally on LP and CD. Our role spanned everything from session prep to final polish – and the result speaks for itself. The studio setup is compact yet powerful: centered around a Universal Audio system, paired with trusted monitoring and select outboard gear for mix printing and analog flavor. Sessions are portable, professional, and always centered around the artist’s needs. Behind Koenich Sound is a Berklee-certified engineer with roots in live mixing, songwriting, and production since 1999. What we value most?
