A dream that started in 2012: Transforming all thermoset EOL material and thermoset composites into products made of a new and endlessly circular material. Processing of polyurethane and bakelite was first developed, then processing of polyester and all other composites was taken up. The technology is now fully developed, suitable for all thermoset materials and thermoset composites and patented worldwide. KoiosTitan is now ready for the realization of the first production plant in the Netherlands. Every year, more than 20,000 tons of composites and other thermoset material from windmill blades, train and aircraft interiors, boats and vehicles will be processed here into high-quality structural products. After the start-up in the Netherlands, KoiosTitan will take up the circular processing of thermoset materials and thermoset composites in Europe and the rest of the world. With this, an industrial solution is finally available to process all thermoset composites in a high-quality way into products that can be recycled endlessly. The processing of the EOL materials requires little energy, there is no loss of material and the new products replace products made from traditional materials that have a higher CO2 footprint. The specter of graveyards full of windmill blades is a thing of the past. All manufacturers of thermoset composite products can now continue to use the superior qualities of these materials without worrying about the EndOfLife circular processing of the products.
