KOMED ltd. is a company founded in 1987 with the main objective to manufacture, market and wholesale microbiological culture media and quick diagnostic tests, laboratory aids and medical equipment. Our basic activity is the manufacture of ready-to-use microbiological culture media, wholesale of dehydrated microbiological culture media and quick identification tests, as well as of laboratory consumables and equipment for modern laboratories and healthcare institutions. Owing to constant queries and advice from our faithful clients, we have expanded our offer to a range of disinfectants and antibacterial agents. A novelty in this segment are sanitizers and antiseptics for hands, objects, premises and air in work environments, offices, hotels or labs. Our employees’ knowledge, professional approach and years of experience are at the disposal of all our clients and customers. Our state-of-the-art warehouse provides for an extensive offer and quick delivery of the entire range of products to your company, lab or for everyday use. Since its very beginnings, KOMED has held a manufacturing certificate granted by the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of Croatia (HALMED), and under the Act on Medicinal Products and Medical Devices, our microbiological culture media and products have been entered into HALMED’s Register.
