Komplementa Investment Partners is an Italian asset management company (SGR) established in 2024 which, as of July 31, 2025, manages the closed-end alternative investment fund “Komplementa Mid Market”. The fund is PIR-compliant and reserved for professional and institutional investors. Komplementa was founded by a group of professionals with a proven track record of collaboration and highly complementary expertise in private equity, M&A, entrepreneurship, management, and strategic consulting. The Komplementa Mid Market Fund invests in Italian SMEs with robust business models, active in resilient and high-growth sectors, with a particular focus on companies with strong international expansion potential. The investment strategy aims to create value not only through organic growth but also by supporting buy & build initiatives, helping businesses scale and capture the opportunities of the mid–lower market segment, a space traditionally underserved by larger private equity players. The Fund primarily targets majority investments in SMEs with EBITDA between €3 and €10 million, while remaining open to minority positions tied to capital increases under a development capital approach. In selected circumstances, co-investment opportunities may also be offered to limited partners. While maintaining a generalist approach, Komplementa focuses on high-potential companies operating in sectors such as Industrial, Healthcare & Personal Care, Food, B2B Services and ICT. Our approach is rooted in sustainability, with ESG principles structurally embedded into both the investment process and the active ownership of portfolio companies, in line with the SFDR Article 8 classification.
