About Kongstad Studio

Kongstad Studio is a creative duo working in various media including painting, mural, illustration, installation and sculpture. Cecilie studied design and communication while Tobias studied sourcing and innovation, their work often revolves around nature and characters, symbiosis versus detachment. Their studio is full of color, being it is proven to have a positive effect on human psyche, and accompanies humoursome thoughtfulness, often driven by a site-specific mood. Inspired by innovation, they often work with intriguing materials such as air purifying paint, always seeking new ideas to support their art’s underlying theme. As the first artist in the world (as far as they know), their studio is a Certified B Corporation™ which means that they have been independently reviewed and verified as a studio that meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. They have worked with a foundation supporting children with cancer, vegetable pioneers fighting food waste, a non-profit housing association and more. Being able to contribute to causes, people and businesses of this nature is their mission.
