Konik was incorporated in 1974 by George Konik , who was a degreed Electrical Engineer. In June 2000, George sold the company to his son, Brad Konik, who is now President. George’s love of hockey was passed down to his son. Tom Goettl returned to the company in 2009 as Vice President and part-owner. After working with George and Brad previously, he strongly believed in the reputation and future of the company. In 2016, the company acquired PrimeStaff, another highly reputable technical staffing agency, founded by Kathy Carlsen and Troy Harper. As a result of this merger, the company became Konik Primestaff. Our rebranded company now bears the name Konik, and we continue to be a leading technical staffing agency in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and Midwest.
