KONUNDRUM® creates modular outerwear for the needs of today and tomorrow. KONUNDRUM® is proposing an outerwear wardrobe solution that utilizes the power of modularity and consequently the versatility, interconnectivity, and interchangeability of each garment within the system. A Garment-System has many advantages over integrated garments like extended product lifespan, more versatility, and increased sustainability. Above all it allows us to combine the functional and aesthetical properties of many garments in one. The goal is to create clothing that allows consumers to get more garments for less material. Overconsumption is the main driver behind climate change. Thus, we believe it is the responsibility of brands, designers, engineers, and innovators to come up with solutions that enable change. We consider the most sustainable garment to be one that uses minimal resources, has the longest possible lifespan, is built thoroughly enough to last at least one generation, and is recyclable at the end of its lifespan. Therefore, we offer maintenance and repair services to our customers. We also believe in the ability of technology to come up with innovative fiber-separation technologies soon, allowing us to break apart mixed-fiber textiles and turning them back into their raw material state. Once in place, we will offer a take-back and recycling service to our clients.
