In November 2015, LexisNexis South Africa, part of RELX Group, acquired Korbitec from the Naspers Group, establishing LexisNexis South Africa as the leader in conveyancing solutions in the South African legal market. Korbitec’s products are used by all stakeholders in the transfer of property ownership, from Consumers and Real Estate Agencies to Conveyancing Attorneys, Financial Institutions, Local Municipalities and the Deeds Office. The business is the first of its kind in South Africa, with its two leading products, GhostConvey and WinDeed, perfectly complementing LexisNexis South Africa’s focus and its existing public records search business, DeedSearch.
