About Korea Student Aid Foundation(KOSAF)
The Korea Student Aid Foundation was established by Korean law in the Act on the Establishment of the Korea Student Aid Foundation on May 2009. Working closely with the Ministry of Education, the foundation executes government-supported assistance for students in post-secondary education. The foundation was established with the following aim: creating and operating a national system in which “any person with sufficient qualifications and abilities for higher education," whatever his or her financial means, has the opportunity to study. Annually, the foundation provides students at universities and colleges with financial assistance primarily though loans, grants and scholarships. Going above and beyond financial support, KOSAF’s talent development programs give students a platform for cultivating their potential as global leaders. The foundation is a pathway for students desiring to pursue higher education to be able to do so—especially by expanding opportunities so that financial difficulties are not a setback to their educational progress. We serve with love as a pathway for students to take steps towards fulfilling their hopes and dreams.
