Since 1975 Korman Signs, Inc. has been manufacturing traffic control products and fleet markings at its headquarters facility in Richmond, Virginia. Over the past 46 years the plant has grown in size to over 130,000+ square feet. This space is not only used as a manufacturing center but also as a distribution hub for a host of traffic control devices, mounting hardware, sign posts, and 3M™ products. Korman Signs manufactures a full line of construction work zone products that is comprised of 3M reflective roll-up signs, portable sign stands, barricades, stop/slow paddles and rigid signs made from the patented ALPOLIC® 350 aluminum composite material. Korman’s signs, stands, and barricades are all NCHRP 350 approved and have been subjected to an extensive crash and wind testing program, day and night, using an outside independent laboratory, and internal faculties. For quick turnaround, shipments on standard Diamond Grade roll-up sign legends and select sign stands leave the warehouse within 24 hours with the R.A.P.I.D. Fire Delivery program. Additionally, Korman Signs offers a comprehensive range of permanent signing products including breakaway sign posts, slip base assemblies and anchors, mounting hardware, sign bracing, MUTCD traffic signs and faces, sign blanks, high visibility, reflective LightHawk™ signal backplates, flexible delineator posts, and 3M pavement markings products. The latest, state-of-the-art digital printing, robotic welding, and application technologies are utilized in manufacturing highway signage from multi-color wayfinding signs to large ground mount and overhead interstate guide signs. The unique LassoLok™ delivery system is designed specifically for oversized interstate signage ensuring timely and damage free delivery.
