By providing intensive training through the production of exceptional musical theater, we take young artists on adventures that will inspire them the rest of their lives. Who We Are Since its nearly two decades ago, Korsa Musical Theater has become the Bay Area’s premier musical theater training company, teaching young artists about all the disciplines of musical theater, while also producing excellent productions. We offer intensive training to young artists and believe that the best teaching combines professionalism, respect, and kindness. The life cycle of the artist is very important to us, and our team of staff, teaching artists, and designers boasts many Korsa alums who have returned to mentor the next generation. What We Do We bring together the Bay Area’s most talented and dedicated young performers, musicians and students of technical theater (7th grade through college) with professional directors, designers, choreographers, and musicians. We create theater that takes on challenging and sophisticated musical and dramatic themes, and that is always accompanied by a full, live orchestra. Our students go on to study at the top musical theater programs around the world, star in Broadway shows and national tours, and even win Tony Awards.
